Apple released the 17″ Macbook Pro today.It is priced at $2,799. The 17″ MacBook Pro measures 15.4″ x 10.4″ x 1″ and weighs in at 6.8 pounds. This beast comes with a 2.16 Ghz Core Duo processor, 1 GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM, 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 and a new 8x dual-layer SuperDrive. However, the funny thing is that a similarly configured Macbook Pro 15″ costs $100 more than the 17″ model. Very curious pricing I should say.
